z.b.: hoch soll sie schweben:
Barbara Kaiser and Tamara Wilhelm have been collaborating for a couple of years, starting with the Vegetable Orchestra. In 2003, together with Ingrid Schlögl, they founded the group z.b.: …
(english: e.g. …). Since the trio was reduced to a duo in 2005, Wilhelm and Kaiser focus on performances that encircle and cirumsscribe an idea, that encompass a wide range of themes. As to the media used there are no limits: installations, videos, radio drama, photography, performance, experimental and improvised music. With the group name z.b.: … followed by individual names, each appearance is given a new frame to be filled with contents.
In their audio-visual performance on the occasion of Art’s Birthday, Barbara Kaiser and Tamara Wilhelm turn habits of viewing and listening upside down. An queer party for all senses – kiss kiss bang bang KABLOOOIEEE!

Barbara Kaiser studied Transmedia Arts at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. She is a founding member of the Vegetable Orchestra, a member of the international radio art network Radia and the head and curator of ZOOM animation film studios Vienna.
Various projects in experimental music, video and radio art and performance.

Tamara Wilhelm studied Computer Music and Electronic Media at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She experiments with the construction of instruments and with composition at the Vegetable Orchestra, she performs with the group z.b.: …, and she works with sound installations and handmade electronic music instruments.
