Art’s Birthday 2013 – 1.000.050th Birthday of Art
In 2013, Kunstradio is heading for Mistelbach an der Zaya. The town in the Weinviertel region in northeast Austria has its own museum. And this is where we are celebrating the 1000050th Birthday of Art, following an invitation of the artists’ group alien productions, who curated an exhibition of Heinz Cibulka at the Museumszentrum Mistelbach. Cibulka is an author and photographer, whose birthday happens to be just a day before Art’s Birthday.
Kunstradio’s Art’s Birthday Party is co-curated by alien productions (Martin Breindl, Norbert Math, Andrea Sodomka) and features guest performers from various artistic backgrounds: Robert Paci Daló, Jörg Piringer, alien productions, elffriede, John Duncan, Ivan Palacky and others.
Open to the public, the party takes place around a dinner table, with the performers and the audience mingling. We are preparing plenty of homemade delicatessen for your eyes and ears, on site on air and on line.
