RTS will propose for Art’s Birthday the performance of two sound artists who are in artistic residency at the CERN in Geneva: Vincent Hänni& Rudy Decelière.
Their performance will be send from the Arsenic Theater in Lausanne which will be our place for Art’s Birthday.

Vincent Hänni was born in Geneva in 1972. A trained guitarist, he has always been fascinated with sound and sound experimentation. He enjoys modular synthesis as much as playing acoustic instruments such as the guitar and the lute. He has composed sound tracks for over thirty films, plays and dance performances. Between 2007-2014, he joined The Young Gods with whom he has recorded several albums and toured internationally. He regularly works with musicians and artists on the experimental music and theatre scene in Switzerland. These include Jacques Demierre, Maya Bösch, Cindy van Acker, and Cave 12, to name but a few. In 2014, he won the artistic residency Collide@CERN with Rudy Decelière.
Vincent Hänni approaches music as material that can be bent and twisted. He enjoys playing with different stylistic frameworks and conventions in order to ‘shake them up’, and to underline the strengths and the tensions that run through them. He aims to avoid standardisation, to reach new heights and to blend his music into this material.
